Historic residential building in a modern glass robe
The building, located in Winchester, England, was originally built by the Earl of Airlie in 1856 while he served as Camp Commandant at the nearby Peninsular Barracks military base. As time went by, the former residents split the original building into two modestly sized dwellings later in the 1950s.
The current owners’ love for glass has further shaped the historic building’s look, as a result of which it received its present form: with the help of glass, they transformed the historic building into a modern residential one.
